  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugars, butter, eggs, and almond extract.
  4. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients; fold in almonds.
  5. Shape into logs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Slice and bake again for 10 minutes per side.
