Gingerbread Cookies
Spiced holiday classics with a touch of molasses, perfect for decorating!

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add molasses and egg.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until dough forms.
- Roll out dough, cut shapes, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool before decorating.
